Here is a list of case competitions that we are not sponsoring, but students can choose to go on their own. 

Wisconsin Case Competition

Join teams from the nation’s top undergraduate business schools to compete in the second annual Wisconsin Invitational Consulting Case Competition hosted by the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison from March 20-21. Applications open December 1. Click here to learn more!

​Midwest Entrepreneurship Case Competition

The Midwest Entrepreneurship Case Competition (MECC) is a dynamic, virtual event that challenges aspiring entrepreneurs to develop evidence-based business ideas. Registration opens in January, with case materials released in early February. Each team of 3-4 undergraduates of has one week to research, create a proposal, and submit a video pitch. Registered teams receive temporary access to Sage Business, a research tool provided by the corporate sponsor. Established in 2015, this annual early-spring competition is hosted by Purdue University and welcomes teams from colleges and universities across the Midwest, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. AIO Case Competition

The AIO Case Competition is a multi-round, data-driven analytics challenge where students apply Figure Sense principles to generate insights from real-world data and present their findings for cash prizes. The Spring 2026 competition includes undergraduate and graduate divisions and offers KU Business undergraduates up to 30 professional development (HATCH) points. Team registration closes February 6, with short proposals due February 22 and full written reports and code due March 13. Finalists will be announced April 3 and will present in person on April 17.
