The Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin–Madison recently hosted its Wisconsin Invitational Consulting Case Competition, where top undergraduate teams competed to solve real-world business challenges in a fast-paced, March Madness–inspired environment.
About
This year’s Wisconsin Invitational Consulting Case Competition at the University of Wisconsin–Madison challenges top undergraduate teams from across the nation to innovate, compete, and excel on a national stage. Set during the excitement of March Madness, the event blends high-level strategic problem solving with a competitive, bracket-style format that mirrors the energy of the tournament.

Participants will present their solutions to a panel of experienced judges while also gaining valuable exposure to leading consulting firms such as Accenture and Deloitte. Beyond the competition itself, students will have opportunities to strengthen their case interview skills, engage in recruiting preparation, and build meaningful connections with industry professionals.
With prize awards reaching up to $4,000 for first place, the competition recognizes not only strong analytical thinking but also teamwork, creativity, and the ability to deliver impactful, real-world solutions.
